Rockledge Park at Grapevine Lake. $10 per vehicle entry. We will hike between 2 - 5 miles along the Loop 4 (maybe Loop 3 pending weather) and return to Rockledge Park for swimming.  Then go to an excellent brunch nearby!  Bring a swimsuit, towel, and a change of clothes if you plan to swim.

Rockledge Park parking area near the trailhead. Once you enter Rockledge Park, turn to the right and drive to the end of the paved area to the turnaround. Pictures of the meeting place are posted in the event discussion.

A note on PACE AND TIMING: We will start within 15 minutes of the 8:00 AM meeting time. The pace of the hike is intended to be relaxed and comfortable to provide the most enjoyable experience for all.

EQUIPMENT: Water, bug spray, sunscreen, swimsuit, towel, and a change of clothes.

IMPORTANT: Last minute changes or cancellation due to weather will be sent ‘day of’ in a direct message by the host to confirmed attendees. The event will also be updated to reflect a change in plan.

SAFETY: Hiking and swimming have risks, so please use good judgment. By joining, you’re responsible for your own safety, gear, health, swimming ability, and any kids or guests you bring. This is a casual hiking group, not a guided service. Please stay hydrated, avoid unnecessary risks, and communicate any plan changes. The host and volunteers are not responsible for injuries, losses, or accidents.

Recommended water allocation is 2 liters per 6 hours per adult.
