On Wednesday, November 12, explore the art of environmental and free verse poetry during a hands-on workshop at Bryn Du Mansion with Fall Artist-in-Residence Danielle Pinney. Danielle will share examples from notable poets, guide you through creative exercises, and give you time to craft your own original poem.

Then, on Wednesday, November 19, we’ll gather at the cozy Earthworks Café & Lounge at Newark Station for a poetry reading, where participants can share their new works, or simply listen and enjoy an evening of creativity and community. If you’d like your poem read but prefer not to read it yourself, someone else can share it on your behalf.

No experience is necessary, and both events are free and open to the public. Attend one or both. Either way, bring a friend and get inspired!
