It is a great time to start planning your spring landscaping projects! Curious about simple things you can do to create a great looking property that’s healthier for you, your family, your pets, and the environment and that saves you time and money? Join the Licking Park District and Licking Soil and Water Conservation District for the six week Landscape for Life™ series to learn how to create healthy soils, conserve and manage water, attract beneficial insects, birds & wildlife, cultivate a safe lawn, and reduce maintenance time in your garden. The series consists of five individual classes held on Tuesday evenings starting on February 4th. Each class will have “homework”, culminating in a personal property design! Landscape For Life™ is a collaboration between the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center and the United States Botanic Garden based on the principles of the Sustainable Sites Initiative (SITES®).
Fee: $10 (for printing costs). Space is limited to the first 20 registered participants.
