ALL ARE WELCOME - both new folks and experienced!
While every TCD FastCAT Fun Run is always newbie-friendly, we’re excited to officially dedicate the second Saturday of each month to welcoming our first-timers!
You do not need to wait for a “Newbie Day” to come run with us—but we’ve noticed that trying something new can feel a little intimidating, and sometimes folks just need that extra supportive push.
On Newbie Days, we’ll have:
• Extra literature explaining what FastCAT is
• A breakdown of how the official points system works
• Information on how we run FastCAT fun/practice runs here at TCD, including info about our individual contests and competitions
• Info about upcomming trials in our area
• Info about how to register your dog to compete beyond just our fun runs
• Extra hands on deck for releasing
• Plenty of one-on-one instruction for anyone who wants it
We’ll even have “I’m New – Teach Me About FastCAT” stickers for anyone who’d like to wear one!
We can't wait to continuing growing our community and adding new friends to our run roster!
