On this paddle we will explore these areas along the river where the land grows and changes with the water itself. We’ll also be joined by the Conservancy’s Invasive Species Coordinator: Maria Young, who will share more about her work to protect these delicate ecosystems. Join us to experience the St. Croix firsthand while learning about its unique and bountiful habitats. Meet your Wild Rivers Conservancy Paddle Guides!Owen has been planning and leading events as the Outdoor Program Coordinator at the Conservancy since 2024. Previously he has worked as an outdoor guide leading canoe and backpacking expeditions throughout North America, and as an adaptive ski instructor in the mountains of Colorado. He is a certified Wilderness First Responder and trained in risk management for a multitude of outdoor settings.October is the Conservancy's Outdoor Program Specialist and an avid outdoorsman throughout the midwest. He has been kayaking and fishing since his youth, and adventured up and down the coast from Washington to Alaska. He now resides in the St. Croix valley and has years of experience guiding throughout his favorite places along the Riverway.Details:This is a fully supported paddle.
