Join Melissa for Candela’s newest class: “Rise and Shine Salsa,” at 9 a.m. on Mondays, starting Aug. 3

This is a 45-minute class designed to kickstart your day with a Latin vibe and send you out into your week with a happy dance glow. 

We’ll warm up with a Salsa “shines” (footwork) sequence. Then we’ll tailor the rest of the class to those in attendance: If there are leaders and followers, we’ll do some partnerwork. If it’s mostly followers, we may continue with more complex shines, or ladies’ styling. 

Topics we’ll touch on this month include:
• “Salsa On 1” (LA-style) vs. “Salsa On 2” (NY-style) – we’ll try both! 
• Dance frame and poise
• Spin drills (traveling and stationary turns)

This will be a light and fun class, designed to get you moving and leave with a smile on your face ?

All levels welcome, no partner needed!
