About Mario Murillo:
Mario Murillo rose from poverty in the Mission District of San Francisco, where his life was completely revolutionized by Christ. After his transformation, he felt a divine call to bring the message of Jesus Christ to the University of California at Berkeley, one of the most turbulent and riot-torn campuses of its time.
Sharing his faith on such hostile ground seemed beyond impossible. His early attempts to communicate the Gospel of Jesus were repeatedly rejected. Desperate for breakthrough, Mario prayed a life-defining prayer:
“If You called me to this campus, You must help me.”
That help came—first in stages, then in power. Mario was given words—words that flowed differently, words that pierced hearts and broke through resistance. What started as a small group of students soon grew into regular gatherings of hundreds.
Then something extraordinary happened: students began to report miraculous healings. They testified that, in the mighty Name of Jesus, their sickness and afflictions vanished.
With deep integrity, Mario insisted that every healing be verified by medical doctors. And through it all, he remained unwavering: the preaching of the Gospel must always take center stage, with miracles seen only as byproducts of proclaiming God's Word.
As the news of salvations, healings, and transformed lives spread, thousands began to attend Mario’s rallies. His international ministry ignited after a four-day conference in San Jose, California, which extended over six months with a cumulative attendance of nearly 250,000 people.
Since that time, Mario Murillo Ministries has reached millions across the world. His message cuts through the confusion of modern culture and speaks directly to the hurts of society—bringing hope, healing, and transformation through the clear and powerful declaration of Jesus Christ.
