Will AI novelists replace the human author?

In this fast-paced account of his various encounters with AI, best-selling mystery writer and Richard & Judy author Martin Davies will worry aloud about why he may (or may not) be about to be replaced by a machine. This light-hearted but thought-provoking event will appeal to anyone who has ever allowed predictive text to finish a sentence for them, as well as to anyone who isn’t completely convinced that Sherlock Holmes in a Tutu is the future of fiction.

Martin Davies is the author of fourteen novels, including the international best-seller ‘The Conjuror’s Bird, and ‘Havana Sleeping’ The next novel in his ‘Mrs Hudson’ series of novels, about Sherlock Holmes’s housekeeper, was published in January.
