Operator Licence Awareness Training or Transport Manager Refresher 2 day Online and In-person certificated by the CILT.
Our OLAT & Transport Manager Courses are CILT (Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport) accredited and so they are one of the courses recommended by the Traffic Commissioner, and they are also FORS Approved Manager Training.
This course will cover the following areas:
•Background to the Operator’s Licence
•Compliance enforcement
•Working time & drivers’ hours
•Vehicle roadworthiness and defect reporting
•Construction and use requirements
•Driver licences/driver CPC
•Speed limits
•Environmental considerations
On completion of this course, you will be able to:
•Recount the requirement to obtain and maintain an operator licence
•Demonstrate how and why driver hours legislation are crucial to safety and compliance to the undertaking
•State the responsibilities of management and drivers have regarding vehicle roadworthiness and defect reporting
•Identify the requirements of driver licence/DQC checks
•Demonstrate an awareness of sector legislative awareness, safe fleet operation and environmental requirements
This course offers a flexible hybrid learning format. You can choose to attend in-person classes or participate online through our virtual classroom platform. The online sessions are conducted using Zoom and can be accessed from any device that supports the Zoom app, such as a PC, laptop, tablet, or smartphone.
Completion of the remote learning course will gain you the same accreditation as completion of the face-to-face training course.
