War reigns unending in the wilds of Ghyran.
In this doubles tournament, each player will bring 1000 points to fight against their opponents. Points cannot be shared between each player.
Only ONE player needs to register on BCP. Some newbies may not have/want to download the app.
Teams will consist of two players. Players may choose their partners, but experienced players are requested to take on a newbie from the learn to play event on 11/22. There will be an ongoing sign-up sheet I will manage.
Because this is a learning event, and some people will be loaning/sharing armies with their teammates, SOME proxies and 3D Printed units are allowed. Please try to stick to no more than 30% of your army roster being 3D printed for each player. However, some grace will be extended as this is primarily an event aimed at building our community.
Special rules for the event are as follows:
Command Points are shared by the team to the allotted maximum per the most current GHB.
Only one extra command point can be granted Round 1, if a teammate’s list is 950 points or fewer. You cannot gain TWO command points if both players are at 950 points each.
Keywords and abilities can be shared across both teammates’ armies if they are playing the same faction.
An example is two Sylvaneth players sharing buffs and auras
If players are running the same faction, you can only use the maximum number of faction terrain pieces as if you were ONE player
An example is only using 3 Cursed Sepulchers as Soulblight Gravelords
If players are running the same faction, you are also limited on ability caps, as if you are a single player
An example is Idoneth Deepkin only being able to teleport ONE unit via the Tides Abilities, instead of one per player.
Each Round, you and your teammate will choose WHICH battle tactics cards from your list you want to run. ONLY ONE per player may be used.
Battle Tactics points and all points pools are shared by the team. There is no individual scoring.
The price per player is $30.00. $8.00 goes directly to the store to help cover increased operating costs. The remaining $22.00 will go to the prize pool.
Prize pay-out will be split 50/50 between team players as follows:
First Place Team = 35%
Second Place Team = 30%
Third Place Team = 20%
Last Place Team = 15%
Dice are rolling at 10:30. Please be on-site by 10am.
Each battle round will be given a strict 3-hour timeframe. When “dice down” is called, that is it. You have a couple minutes to math things out, but not much more than that. Please be courteous and do not waste time deploying your army, setting up, or playing on your phone. We will hopefully have a good number of new players, and I want everyone to focus, be courteous and have fun.
