Join us for Baroness War, where the baronies of An Tir gather for a weekend of camaraderie, challenge, and service. Rally your war bands, polish your armour, and prepare for war! This year’s war promises a full array of combat: open field, castle, and bridge battles await those bold enough to answer the call, along with prize tournaments in armoured and rapier combat, equestrian, archery and thrown weapons, Arts and Sciences, and bardic.
We will also be introducing a new test of devotion: The Heart of the Barony Competition — a quest to discover which Baroness is most beloved in the Kingdom, shown not by her own hand, but through the works and dedication of her populace.
Throughout the event, every act of skill, service, artistry, and spirit will stand as a testament to the love a barony bears for its Baroness. In the true tradition of the SCA, “in service to the Dream,” the people themselves will determine who shall earn the honour of The Heart of the Barony.
Raise your banners. Rally your people. Let your deeds speak.
Let it be known that while the realms contend for honor in the Baroness War, Vulcanfeldt shall also seek its next Equestrian Champion.
