This trail offers a variety of flora and fauna, a mix of open and wooded areas, paved and dirt trails, lots of parking, and a porta potty on-site. It’s accessible and gives everyone the option to explore as they feel comfortable.

$50 PRFCA members 

$85 Non - PRFCA members.

Open to all levels beginner to advanced.

Each artist is welcome to bring their preferred medium and a light setup for easy mobility. Elizabeth will bring paper and markers for thumbnails, a watercolour setup for one session, and an oil setup for the other. We'll also send out suggested plein air setup tips for different mediums closer to the event.

This retreat is all about shifting perspective.

The morning will focus on zooming in close to notice the quiet details ( the veins of a leaf, the shimmer of an insect's wing, the textures beneath our fingertips).

In the afternoon, we'll step back to take in the endless Alberta Sky, its movement, light and moods.
