IMPORTANT CHANGES FOR 2026 FURBANGER DERBY
ALL PRIZES WILL BE ON A DRAW SYSTEM. THE MORE DOGS YOU BRING IN THE MORE TICKETS YOU CAN ADD TO THE DRAW FOR YOUR TEAM.
2 DAY hunt, not 3 DAY hunt (Friday afternoon to Sunday midday)
$60 ENTRY FEE per hunter
Dinner at a venue TBD – Participants must cover their own drinks and gratuities if we go to a restaurant
2 SECRET CATEGORY PRIZES TO BE WON! (notification when you pick up your package)
FURBANGER DERBY RULES:
Participants must follow ALL federal and provincial laws, including but not limited to, Canadian Criminal Code, Alberta Trespass laws, Alberta Fish and Game laws. Any reported violations will be passed on to the appropriate authorities and participants will be automatically disqualified without a refund.
Team members must travel and hunt together
REGISTRATION can be completed any time – December 1 to January 24 at 4pm
TEAM PACKAGES must be picked up between and not before 11AM FRIDAY and 4PM SATURDAY
CUT OFF for judging is 2PM SUNDAY, anyone late will automatically be disqualified
ALL JUDGING IS INDEPENDENT, FINAL, AND UNCONTESTABLE

Organizers and sponsors are NOT RESPONSIBLE for any accident, injury, loss, lawless or inappropriate behaviour.

All coyotes must have the provided mouths gags properly inserted as directed to be eligible for the derby
TEAM PRIZES and DOOR PRIZES will be announced and handed out at D-Coy Armouries
Attendance is required to win door prizes.
By participating in the event and signing your entry form you acknowledge that you have read, understood and will abide by all the rules set out.
You understand that all risk and liability is waived by the organizers and sponsor and is accepted by the participants.
You are responsible for acting within the law and with common courtesy. Any behaviour that is deemed to be unbecoming or violating any of the above rules automatically disqualifies the team engaged in such behaviour and no refund will be given.
