Local Spins returns with another edition of one of the most popular tribute nights SpeakEZ Lounge has ever hosted. "Laurel Canyon II" will feature an evening of music by The Eagles, Crosby Stills Nash & Young, and The Byrds -- unfurled by a who's who roster of Michigan musicians and singers.
The lineup includes Bear Berends (Blue Water Ramblers), John Merchant, Tony Halchak Trio (Halchak, Alex Austin, Al Cegelis), Mark Swanson, Loren Kranz and the "house band" -- Tom Taylor, Charlie Hoats, Charley Honey, John Sinkevics and Alistair Beerens.
Songs will include everything from "Take It Easy," "One of These Nights" and "Lyin' Eyes" to "Hickory Wind," "Mr. Tambourine Man" and "Eight Miles High" to "Helpless," "Woodstock" and "Ohio."
This will be a special night, featuring our spotlighted artists' interpretations of these classic tunes.
A $5 surcharge is added to patrons' bill to help pay performers.
