This event will take place outside. In case of inclement weather, this event will be moved indoors.  

Parents, caregivers, and children are invited to our kick-off event where we'll introduce this year's Social Justice Begins With ME books and themes. Participants can register for the monthly events, pick up free copies of this year's books, and enjoy a special performance by singer and songwriter Joe Reilly.				

Social Justice Begins with ME is designed for children ages 4-11 and explores social justice topics that impact their daily lives through children's literature. 

This program is a partnership between the Grand Rapids Public Library and the School of Social Work at Grand Valley State University.

Los participantes pueden registrarse para los eventos mensuales, obtener copias gratuitas de los libros de este año y disfrutar de una actuación especial del cantante y compositor Joe Reilly.
La Justicia Social Comienza CONMIGO está diseñado para niños de 4 a 11 años y explora temas de justicia social que impactan su vida diaria a través de la literatura infantil.
