Laura Armenta is a Mexican-born choreographer with 40 years of professional experience in dance and holistic arts. Her work spans contemporary dance, ethnochoreology, and cultural storytelling, captivating audiences from Mexico City to international stages. She is the founder and CEO of Armentality Group, Artistic Director of Armentality Movement Arts Center, and founder and Artistic Director of Laura Armenta Dance Company.

This program is supported by the Grand Rapids Public Library Foundation and the Wege Foundation.

Laura Armenta es una coreógrafa nacida en México con 40 años de experiencia profesional en danza y artes holísticas. Su trabajo abarca la danza contemporánea, la etnocoreología y la narración cultural, cautivando al público desde la Ciudad de México hasta escenarios internacionales. Es la fundadora y directora ejecutiva de Armentality Group, directora artística de Armentality Movement Arts Center y fundadora y directora artística de Laura Armenta Dance Company.

Este programa cuenta con el apoyo de la Fundación de la Biblioteca Pública de Grand Rapids y la Fundación Wege.
