Described as a misty-eyed, ethereal folk-rock sound somewhere between Phantogram and Iron Harlows been a steady presence on the Minneapolis music scene since forming in 2021. After releasing their two EPs, Playing Dove and Other Lives, Told, alongside a string of singles, the band was voted one of The Currents Best New Bands of 2022, playing to a sold out crowd on the historic First Avenue stage and gaining attention in the Twin Cities music scene. Throughout 2023 and 2024, the band kept the momentum going with four new singles and hit the road for three tours, including opening for Trampled By Turtles in Grand Rapids, MI. Their debut LP, Cows Come Home, released March of 2025.
Emma Bieniewicz is a dynamic singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based in Grand Rapids, MI. With a rich blend of folk, indie, and pop influences, her music pairs lighthearted melodies with thoughtful, often unconventional lyrics. A skilled violinist and violist, Emma creates a unique sound that draws listeners in with its warmth and authenticity. Since stepping into the spotlight in late 2022, Emma has quickly made a name for herself, sharing the stage with notable artists such as Deb Talan, Abby Holliday, Kevin Devine, and Motherfolk. Her live performances are known for their intimate energy and emotional depth, leaving audiences eager for more.
Benjamin James Childs is an indie folk outfit who has become known for his bittersweet lyricism and soft sonic landscape. With beginnings as a one-man show, he has surrounded himself with like-minded musicians and has since included their talents to his live sound.
