Diving into Deep Time: Life in Cretaceous Seas

The Dice Mineralogical Museum at Calvin University welcomes the campus community and the general public to an exhibit focusing on marine fossils from the Cretaceous Period, including large ammonites, a mosasaur skull, and a fossil octopus. The event will include the unveiling of an original painting commissioned for the fossil octopus display and a spectacular new fossil acquisition, as well as an informative talk about the geology of Lebanon and its famous fossils.
