What is Bright Star?
It is a bluegrass musical written by Steve Martin (yes that Steve Martin) and Edie Brickell, set just post WWII. It takes place then with flashbacks to the 20s as we see the story of a family being torn apart and then through a series of events how they find their way back to each other. It is a relatively new musical debuting in 2014 and landed on Broadway in 2016.

Where and when is the show being performed?
It will be at the Historic Avalon Building on the 14,15, and 16 of November. There will be multiple evening shows and at least one matinee show.

How much are the tickets?
Suggested Donation is $30 for General Admission and $25 for students and seniors. It is a fundraiser for the Avalon Theatre Foundation. 

How do I Pay for Tickets?
Tickets are on sale on the Avalon Theater site. Please be warned about scalping. If you are asked to pay more than the ticket price, you are in the wrong spot. Please contact us for alternate pricing.
