Celebrating birthdays, music, and the start of fall—together.
It’s that time again! Join us to celebrate all the summer and fall birthdays (including Sacha’s on Sept 15!) with a big feast, live music, and good company. This is our ninth year hosting this gathering, and we’re excited to keep growing this tradition for years to come.
Whether you’re a musician or just love music, you’re welcome here. Bring family, friends, your voice, your moves—or just your enthusiasm! Members of The Tokanees and other talented local musicians will be on hand to kick things off, but the mic is open to everyone. All ages welcome, and dogs too! 🐾
🎸 Music & Jam Session
With our studio still rebuilding after the December 2024 fire, we’re hosting the open mic/jam outside on the deck—just like last year. We’ve got:
• A full professional sound system & lighting
• Instruments and gear available (or bring your own)
• Space to perform solo or jump into a jam
We’ll also have a propane fire pit, and (restrictions permitting) a campfire area. Seating is limited, so please bring chairs or blankets to spread out on the lawn. If you’re sensitive to loud music, ear plugs are a great idea.
🏠 Rebuilding Our Studio
We’re one step closer to rebuilding! Permits have been submitted, and we’re awaiting approval to begin construction soon. Insurance doesn’t cover everything, so we’re raising funds to bridge the $300k gap between what we lost and what’s covered. If you’re able, consider donating to help bring our music space back to life.
🍲 Food, Drinks & Fun
• Potluck style: Please bring a dish to share if you can.
• BYOB: We’ll have some non-alcoholic drinks, but feel free to bring extras to share.
• For kids: 75" TV with Disney+/Netflix/cable, plus board games and cards.
• Quiet space: Our basement rehearsal area is open for a warmer, quieter hangout.
🚗 Parking & Safety
• Please leave room for emergency vehicles if parking on the road.
• Extra parking available in the field if needed.
• Flashlights or headlamps are handy as it gets dark.
• If you can’t drive home, let us know—we can try to arrange rides, or you’re welcome to crash on the floor or outside (just bring a sleeping bag or foamy!).
