# Event Details - **Event Name**: Women's Winter Adventure Retreat - **Event Start and End Date**: Sat, 14 Mar, 2026 at 03:30 pm – Mon, 16 Mar, 2026 at 01:30 pm - **Event Description**: Join us for a long girls only weekend full of the best winter activities Colorado has to offer!About this EventGet ready for a long weekend full of fun, friendship and adventure in the heart of the Rocky Mountains.Over the weekend experience a variety of winter activities under the backdrop of towering snowcapped peaks including snowshoeing, cross country skiing and snowbiking through peaceful pine forests and glistening meadows of sparkling powder fine snow.Located at the historic Snow Mountain Ranch near Winter Park , the gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park, offers a tranquil setting and more activities than anywhere else in the state.Our expert local guides have planned a long weekend full of adventurous activities for all levels plus delicious chef prepared meals. Please see our sample itinerary below to get a feel for what the trip will entail. Offerings are subject to change depending on weather and availability but our goal is to provide action packed days with as many activities as you’d like to participate in with free time to unwind and/or explore the ranch!About our venue and lodging:We are staying in a private rustic cabin at Snow Mountain Ranch. Please note these are rustic accommodations and retreat pricing reflects this. We will only be using the cabin for meals and eating, otherwise be ready for an action packed weekend!We are within walking and skiing distance from all of the main activity centers. All retreat participants will receive weekend long xc ski rentals to use at their leisure over the weekend.Retreat fees include all meals, we are hiring a professional chef to prepare most meals (continental breakfast and box lunch on Monday).Sample itinerary:Saturday:1pm: Group carpool meetup outside of Denver metro (tba)3:30pm: Check-in and meet and greet. If you arrive early there will be the opportunity to explore the ranch, cross country ski or any other activities. 4:30pm: Head out for a scenic sunset snowshoe hike into the starry night!7pm: Dinner followed by campfire smore’s, hot chocolate or adult beverages.Saturday:Morning: We will split the group for a half day of fat biking or cross country skiing (lesson + guided outing and split based on your experience level)Fat biking is an exciting sport appropriate for all levels. Imagine the feeling of floating along on white fluffy snow, without worrying about rocks, roots and the more technical elements of traditional mountain biking. Go further and see more during this exhilarating experience!Afternoon: Free time to explore all Snow Mountain Ranch has to offer including tubing, ice skating, play some pickleball, an indoor rock climbing wall and more at: https://snowmountainranch.org/activities/Sunday:Morning: We will kick off the morning with a rejuvenating yoga class and enjoy a delicious breakfast and then split the group for a half day of fat biking or cross country skiing (lesson + guided outing and split based on your experience level) before heading back home after an action packed weekend with new friends!Afternoon: The retreat will officially end at 1pm. We will provide a chef prepared boxed lunch to enjoy onsite or on your way back home.*For those coming from out of state try to schedule a flight that arrives by noon on Saturday and leaves no earlier than 5pm on Monday.Who is this retreat for?This retreat is for anyone and everyone. No previous experience necessary for any of the activities, all fitness levels welcome. Our hikes, rides and cross country skiing outings will be designed to accommodate all paces, we will stop frequently for water/snack breaks and to take in the scenery and plenty of pictures of course!
