Please join us on Saturday, December 6th at 5:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall for our Christmas Dinner Banquet. We haven't held one in a while, but this year it makes a come back!
This year, our theme is “Old Fashioned Christmas”—a night set aside to celebrate the season with warmth, fellowship, and the joy of Christ’s birth.
To help set our hearts on the true meaning of Christmas, we’re reminded of the timeless words from the Book of Luke—just as Linus so lovingly recited in the iconic "A Charlie Brown Christmas":
“And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field,
keeping watch over their flock by night.
And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them,
and the glory of the Lord shone round about them:
and they were sore afraid.
And the angel said unto them, Fear not:
for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy,
which shall be to all people.
For unto you is born this day in the city of David
a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
And this shall be a sign unto you;
Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.
And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host
praising God, and saying,
Glory to God in the highest,
and on earth peace, good will toward men.” — Luke 2:8–14
We invite you and your family to come enjoy a delicious Christmas dinner and dessert, shared together in a spirit of love and community. The evening will include special surprises, and you may even hear a Christmas carol or two to help usher in the season with cheer.
We are also blessed to have someone who has graciously volunteered their time to take family photos. A beautiful photo area will be set up so you can capture special memories of the night.
If you feel led to contribute, donations are still needed, and a sign-up sheet is available in the hallway at church.
We look forward to celebrating this blessed season with each of you.
