- **Event Description**: Kid’s Day 2.0 is back on Saturday, June 27th from 9AM-2PM.  It’s all about connecting kids with our farm and spending time in nature, seeing plants grow, exploring our farm fields and deepening the relationship with where real food comes from! 
For kids of all ages, but primarily elementary age we will have: 
Free “hugging zoo” with miniature highland cows courtesy of Tangled Tinsel Farm.
Free music concert with local artist and musician, Steph Plant at 11AM.
Free craft table and face painting.
Free scavenger hunt and fun farm games.
Free story time at 10AM and touch-a-tractor 
Funky Planet Toys will be vending!!
U-pick flowers, cherry tomatoes, and lavender ($10 to pick lavender and flowers; $4 for cherry tomatoes).
Sugarwitch ice cream sandwiches and kid favorite baked goods will be for sale.
Our farm stand will be open from 9-2 stocked with all our fresh produce plus other local goods.

Our daughter, Lydia, had this wonderful idea last year and we heard from so many that attended that they loved it—we can’t wait to do it again.  Children love nature!  They are naturally curious about plants and animals.  They love to climb tractors and get their hands dirty.  Kids who try fresh veggies straight from the garden usually love them!  Spending a morning exploring all our farm has to offer is truly one of the best activities for their young minds.  It’s magical!  And we want to help bring that magic to our community.  Less screen time and more farm time.  Unplug and dig in!
