What’s happening:

All day (10:00 AM-3:00/5:00 PM): Find the perfect wreath at the Grafton Historical Society’s Christmas Wreath Sale; fresh Christmas trees & raffle from the Grafton Fire & Rescue Auxiliary; a festival sale at the Mercantile shop; and “choose & cut” Christmas trees and wreaths at the farm.

Visit the Nature Museum for cookies, hot cider, a make-your-own nature holiday card activity, and—weather permitting—an evening stargazing session with the Southern Vermont Astronomy Group (6:00-8:00 PM).

Browse the “Gingerbread House Extravaganza” at the library, and take a sugar-house tour to learn how Vermont’s sweet maple syrup is made.

At 11:15 AM: The beloved Dog Parade kicks off — bring your pup in their holiday best to meet at the school.

At approximately 11:30 AM: Santa arrives, parading through the village into the library for story-time with his elves.

Between 12:00-5:00 PM: Holiday shopping continues at local stores like MoRae Jewelers; drop by the Bazaar for hot soup and treats; or join in ornament‐making at the historic Brick Meeting House (1:00-2:00 PM).

At the Grafton Inn: “Inndulgence Tour” of holiday treats, followed by bar bites, then dinner service with live music in the evening (6:00-8:30 PM) in the charming Phelps Barn setting.
