Blessing of the Animals

In Sacred Memory of St. Francis of Assisi
Coming October 5, 1 to 2 PM… Blessing of the Animals, in sacred memory of St. Francis of Assisi. It’s open space at our Pavilion at the East entrance. Join Pastor David (and Buddy the Wonder Pomeranian) for a moment of blessing and prayer for your favorite critters. This year, we are lifting the ban on snakes, but the owner gets to hold them! Come enjoy this annual tradition and know that God loves all creatures, great and small! 5-minute Liturgy and Sermon is at 1 PM. Holy water available for the whole hour (in or out of your vehicle). THIS MATTERS.
For everyone's comfort and safety, please keep your pets leashed or caged for the duration of the event.

We will bless the animals (domestic or farmyard) you bring to our picnic shelter. You may come with photos or post them here, if it’s impractical to transport your critters. God loves them all, and so do we! Join us!
