"Teaching children and adults the value of conservation, the importance of preserving open space, and the value and use of scientific research skills are the passions that we strive to share with all of the participants that visit our bird banding station."

The banding observation begins as early as 7:30 AM but we would like to be able to meet as a group from 9 AM to 10:30 AM. 

The normal capacity is about 20-25 people, and all ages including children are permitted.   This is a special private booking with just WBU staff, customers and their guests.  Let's get a great group of volunteers together for this wonderful experience! 

Please email us at wbuglenmills@gmail.com to let us know if you would like to attend.  We will meet at Rushton at 9 AM.   Indicating "Interested or Going" on FB does not guarantee a reservation.

Please note the following:

-Banding is weather dependent. Banding may be canceled at any time with limited notice due to any one or more of the following weather factors: rain before a banding date, rain on a banding date, high winds.  (We will work on a rain date if this is the case). 

-The banding station is entirely outdoors and you may have to walk through wet grass or mud to reach the station; please dress appropriately.

-Video is prohibited.
-Photography is permitted.

915 Delchester Road and follow the signs to the Banding Station to join us.
