Join us for the 5th Annual Mighty MoJo Memorial Run, in honor of our Molly Joan who fought fiercely for 44 days against Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH) at CHOP before passing away in September 2021. Runners and walkers alike are encouraged to come out to run, fight and live fiercely in Molly’s spirit.
Try out this one-of-a-kind distance in honor of MoJo's days lived at this scenic Ridley Creek State Park. Our 4.4 mile run will take place on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at 10 am. The start and finish line will be on the service road along the paved multi-use trail right near Site 11 at Ridley Creek State Park and will follow one full loop along the trail. The race will be professionally timed by Bryn Mawr Race Company.
We've also planned an untimed 1 Mile Walk for those who prefer to go a shorter distance! The 1 Mile Walk will begin at approximately 10:05 am, and will go in the opposite direction of the runners, with an out and back course. Prizes will be awarded to top three runners for male and female, and top winner in each age group. All proceeds will go directly to the CDH Research Fund at CHOP, which is working tirelessly to come up with new ways to make CDH a more manageable diagnosis and hopefully eliminate it altogether one day.
We've raised over $100,000 in the previous four years and would love to make this another banner year!
