**2025 MASTERS INDOOR HOCKEY INVITATIONAL TOURNAMENT -**
**GOULBURN 10-17 DECEMBER 2025**
**EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST FOR PARTICIPATION IN ACT MASTERS MENS TEAMS - PLAYERS/COACHES/MANAGERS**
Masters Hockey ACT is seeking expressions of interest from prospective players, coaches, and managers for participation in the upcoming Hockey Australia tournament scheduled in Goulburn this coming December.
This event will serve as an Australian Selection Event for the Indoor World Cup 2026 (date and location to be confirmed).
Currently, age divisions are pending confirmation and will be finalised by Hockey Australia following team nominations. For the purposes of ACT Masters Hockey team nominations, we anticipate that age categories will follow the five-year increments used for outdoor representative teams (i.e., O/34’s, O/39’s, O/44’s, O/49’s, etc.). The age cut-off date will be 31 December 2026, thus allowing players eligible for their age group in the subsequent year to participate for Australian selection consideration.
Hockey Australia’s proposed men’s age categories are 35’s, 50’s, and 55’s. ACT Masters’ initial objective will be to form at least two teams within these age groups; however, should there be sufficient interest, additional teams or divisions may be created.
