The Reminiscence of the Future är ett pågående projekt. Det handlar om entropi kontra överlevnad. Det handlar om sorgen över en möjlig framtida undergång och över människans oförmåga att hejda sin rovdrift. Var går gränsen för hur mycket vi kan anpassa världen till oss och när förfaller vår ordning? 
 
I installationen på Galleri 54 går man genom en interaktiv labyrint där Michel Droetto visar 3D-animerade filmer. Längst in i galleriet kan man sitta och försjunka i lugn och ro i ett av verken. 
 
Michel Droetto är född i Frankrike 1949 och har varit verksam som konstnär i Sverige sedan sjuttiotalet. Han arbetar bland annat med installationer, objekt, video, foto, ljus, ljud och interaktiv och digitalt baserad konst.
