Ready to explore something new, connect through movement, and feel the rhythm in a whole new way? Join us for a special Folk Dance Workshop, where Swedish tradition meets joy, connection, and live music provided by our wonderful collaborator, VästkustFolk!  

This time, we’ll dive into two iconic styles – Polska and Vals – central to Swedish folk dance culture. Discover the flowing turns, playful rhythms, and partner connection that make these dances so timeless and full of charm. Our amazing teachers Cecilia and Malva will guide you through both parts of the workshop, accompanied by live traditional music that brings the dances to life.

If you’d like, feel free to join in traditional folk attire - from Sweden or anywhere in the world!  It’s not required, but it definitely adds to the atmosphere.  ?

Note that "slippery" soled shoes are preferable, as we will be turning a lot! There's also always the option to dance in socks, or we can help you tape your shoes.
