Chalmersspexet Vera 18/19 presenterar stolt Ada Lovelace, en omtyckt föreställning som kommer att ta med er till 1800-talets viktorianska England. 

Industrin är framtiden, nya saker uppfinns på daglig basis och social status är viktigare än livet självt. Adas mor vill gifta bort henne men Ada själv är inte intresserad utan vill mycket hellre bygga på den analytiska maskinen. Kommer maskinen bli klar och vad ska man egentligen ha den till? Kommer Ada bli bortgift och varför är Adas far tillbaka i London efter att ha varit borta de senaste femton åren?

Biljetter till föreställningar och kalas köps på: 
https://www.nortic.se/dagny/organizer/1387 eller på plats en timme innan föreställning i mån av plats. Föreställningarna spelas i RunAn i Chalmers Kårhus, och efterföljande kalas, vilka äger rum efter nypremiären (9/2) och efter buskföreställningen (23/2), hålls i Kalle Glader respektive Gustaf Dalén, Chalmers Johanneberg. 

Ett spex är en komisk musikalshow i studentikos anda för publik i alla åldrar. Teater, sång och dans blandas friskt med ordvitsar och finurlig dialog. Musiken är kända låtar i olika genres som gjorts om med nya ”spexiga” texter.

Det finns fyra chanser att se "Ada Lovelace" i Göteborg:
9/2 – Nypremiär + kalas
16/2 – Aspföreställning - english subtitles
22/2 – Föreställning - english subtitles
23/2 – Buskföreställning + kalas

Chalmersspexet Vera 18/19 proudly presents Ada Lovelace, a show that will tell the story of young Ada Lovelace, the world’s first programmer. In the 19th Century London the future is industrial, new things are invented by the day and social status is more important than life itself. 

Ada’s mother wants to marry off her daugther but Ada would rather be building the analytical machine. Will Ada be married and will the machine be completed? Why is Ada’s father back in London after being away for fifteen years?

The shows are played in RunAn in Kårhuset Johanneberg and the following party, which takes place after the premiere (Feb. 9th) and after the last show (Feb. 23rd), will be held in Kalle Glader (Chalmers Johanneberg, close to Kapellplatsen). All shows are in Swedish but the 16th and 22nd there will be English subtitles. Tickets for the shows and parties are for sale either at: https://www.nortic.se/dagny/organizer/1387 or on site one hour before the show starts subject to availability. 

If you have never been to spex it is a comical musical set up by students. There are four chances to watch the show ”Ada Lovelace”:
Feb. 9th – New premiere + ”kalas” 
Feb. 16th – Show with english subtitles 
Feb. 22nd – Show with english subtitles
Feb. 23rd – ”Busk” + ”kalas”
