Learn the secrets of successful competitors with a behind the scenes look at competition. 

Gary Jobst is a 2 time U.S Open Swing Dance Champion. Member of the 3x UCWDC World Champion Dance Team the Midnight Cowboys. A West Coast Swing dancer of more than 35 years. And a judge, chief judge, instructor and trainer for more than 30 years. A member of the Living Legends of Dance. And a Stellar Inductee into the California Swing Dance Hall of Fame. 

You will learn all of the Do's and Don'ts of West Coast Swing competition. We will discuss the organization of competitions, how they are judged, give all kinds of tips and tricks for successful competitors as well as answering the following questions: Why Didn't I make the Finals? Why Didn't I place? What are the Judges looking for? How do judges judge Prelims/Finals? What should I do to help myself be noticed? What should I wear? What Shouldn't I wear? Is Attitude Important? When do the Judges Start judging me? What can I do to help myself?

Start time is 3 PM and expected to last at least until 6 PM.
