Work Skills Training Center for Youth Inc. is thrilled to announce our Summer 2026 “Seed-to-Career” Discovery Sprint! This high-intensity, one-week program is designed for transition-aged youth to build a foundation of essential work skills so they won't have to rely on welfare assistance after graduation. 

What Students Will Accomplish:
Every day from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, students will engage in hands-on “Live Labs” to discover their vocational strengths:  

• Monday: Intro to the Ag-Lab for plant identification and harvesting produce. 

• Tuesday: Practicing professionalism and inventory stocking at a Community Partner Site.  

• Wednesday: Mastering food safety protocols and knife skills in The Chef’s Kitchen.  

• Thursday: Executing a live lunch service as hosts, servers, and prep-cooks.  

• Friday: Creating a digital work history, doing mock interviews, and mapping a school-year coaching plan.  

By the end of the sprint, every student will receive a Comprehensive Career Profile to help identify their level of independence and guide their future coaching!  

Available Sessions (Choose One):  

• Cohort A: June 15 – June 19, 2026  

• Cohort B: June 22 – June 26, 2026  

• Cohort C: July 13 – July 17, 2026
  
• Cohort D: July 20 – July 24, 2026  

Important Details:
• Cost: $351.70 per week for the summer camp format. (Sliding scale financial aid is available for qualifying families!)  

• Location: 1152 Virginia Ave., Goshen, VA 24439
