Two films. One unforgettable night. Celebrate Rocky Horror with a late night double feature picture show at the River Bend Film Festival that you won’t soon forget!
We kick things off with Strange Journey: The Story of Rocky Horror, a documentary about the wild rise of a cult classic, directed by River Bend special guest Linus O'Brien—son of Rocky Horror creator Richard O'Brien. Stick around for a Q&A with Linus and get behind-the-scenes insight into this iconic phenomenon.
Then, it’s time to dress up, shout out, and do the Time Warp with a full screening of the cult film classic, The Rocky Horror Picture Show! Costumes and callouts are tradition—and fishnets are welcome. A list of strictly prohibited items will be provided—please review it before the show.

The legacy lives on through midnight screenings and a devoted following that spans generations. Strange Journey is a documentary film about the 1975 musical film The Rocky Horror Picture Show, which became a cultural phenomenon. The documentary is produced and directed by Linus O'Brien, the son of Rocky Horror writer Richard O'Brien, and includes interviews with Tim Curry, Richard O'Brien, and Susan Sarandon.

In this cult classic, a newly-engaged couple's car breaks down in an isolated area and they must seek shelter at the bizarre residence of Dr. Frank-n-Furter. Featuring Richard O'Brien, Susan Sarandon, Barry Bostwick, Meatloaf, and Tim Curry.
