Herbal Learning - Herb Safety

Lets talk about herb safety! Herbs were the primary remedy for treating human diseases until about one hundred years ago.
In recent years a huge shift has happened where the spectrum of disease has shifted, complex chronic diseases, side effects of Western medicine treatment is not satisfactory, and problems of the adverse drug reactions. That means more people have started to once again rely on herbal remedies, in fact, its estimate that 80% of the worldwide population are using herbs.

There are plenty of misunderstandings toward the safety of herbal medicine but also precautions that should not be ignored.

In this class you will learn about plants that are considered safe, toxic plants, how different plants could be used and what the potential outcome could be with certain herbs.
