Advent Night Visions

Advent is a time of waiting, hoping, and longing. We anticipate and prepare for the coming Christ. Author Jan Richardson ponders the image of a bear entering a cave to gestate and hibernate for the winter months. We each have a cave of the heart within us. We are called to enter it, to trace the images drawn on its walls, to find the One lying in the details of our lives, and then to emerge with newfound wisdom to engage in the Holy’s work. This is advent...entering, listening, paying attention, and engaging the One who accompanies us in the mystery, darkness and waiting.

Meeting in-person for eight sessions, Advent Night Visions follows Night Visions by Jan Richardson and explores what might be on the horizon as we move into this season. Sessions include personal and group reflection using a variety of modalities (ex: art, word, movement, silence). The introductory session begins Monday, November 17, 2025 6:30 - 8:00 pm and then weekly Monday meetings December 1, 2025 - January 12, 2026.

Registration is required. The suggested donation for this series is $160-240.
