Odd Socks invites folks to show up as they are, move with curiosity, and connect through music. A dance ritual celebrating connection, difference, and community.

DJ LINEUP

Winston & Ferrero (Central Coast House Music Collective)
- Co-founders of the Central Coast House Music Collective, prove that experience only sharpens style. After meeting on a dancefloor over 20 years ago, their shared love of house music grew into a lasting creative partnership. They’ve held residencies across the Central Coast and Sydney and appeared on Ministry of Sound tours. With a #1 on iTunes, releases on VinylPusher, Kitschy and Longdistance, and remixes for Mark Dynamix and StoneBridge, they remain in demand. From warming up for PNAU and Sneaky Sound System to running WOYBIZA, TIKIhaus Records and Daft Chunk, they continue to energise dancefloors.

Nolas (Staple / Neuma)
has been building a reputation on the Central Coast for years. One of the founders of Staple, a house music collective behind some of the Coast’s best parties, he also co-founded Neuma, a new ambient techno night at the Link and Pin in Woy Woy. His sets have taken him across the Coast, Newcastle and Sydney, including Staple stage takeovers at the Lass and appearances at Conspiracy parties. Expect deep, considered selections that move between house and techno, with a subtle electro edge.

DandyLyon
DandyLyon is an Inner Westie Queer with soul in her DNA & always a dancefloor in her sights. Drawing on a lifetime of RnB, hip hop and classic cuts from the 80s, 90s and 00s, her remixes sit right in that sweet spot between nu disco, funk, percussive and soulful tech house. Music you remember, energy you won’t forget. 

Kate Doherty
With over two decades of experience behind the decks, Kate Doherty (they/them) is a vinyl DJ known for their dynamic, genre-blending sets that balance intensity with warmth. Their mixing style is fast and hands-on, rooted in techno but shaped by curiosity and connection.

Originally living in Eora, Kate was a resident with the renowned House of Mince and 4our crews, and has played at many of the city’s most respected events including Control, Bad Dog, Loose Ends, Club77, Dunj, Subsonic Festival, and the 40th Mardi Gras After Party. Along the way, they’ve shared stages with artists such as Paula Temple, Helena Hauff, Nene H, Nene H, Aurora Halal, K-Hand, Detroit In Effect, DJ Sprinkles, Freddy K, and Luke Slater, among many others.

Now based on the Central Coast, Doherty continues to explore and build community through music, launching Odd Socks, a night dedicated to individuality, connection, and dancefloor therapy.
