🛠️ Community Quarterly Working Bee
We’re getting back to basics at the Goondiwindi Showgrounds and reintroducing Quarterly Whole-Ground Community Working Bees 🤝
These working bees are an opportunity to:
* Tackle larger jobs that require multiple hands
* Support the upkeep of the grounds beyond what our amazing Camp Hosts can manage alone
* Come together as a community of clubs, users, volunteers, and supporters who value and use the grounds
🕘 What to Expect
Working bees will run for a maximum of 3 hours
Jobs will focus on whole-ground improvements that benefit all users
A chance to work alongside fellow community members and clubs
☕ Morning Tea & BBQ
Thanks to the Goondiwindi Men’s Shed, a morning tea and cuppa station will be available, with a BBQ to wrap up the working bee 🌭
🍰 Baking Donations
Any baking donations can be dropped off to the Men’s Shed on the morning of the working bee.
➡️ RSVPs are appreciated to assist with catering.
📅 When
Quarterly Working Bees will be held in:
March - June - September - December
This timing allows us to support each club with a full working bee in the lead-up to their major annual events.
🏇 Clubs & Attendance
If you are attending on behalf of an engaged club, please let the office know so your participation can be recorded as such.
🚗 Entry & Access
Please enter via the Equestrian & B&S Event Entry Gate on the Old Highway.
Together, many hands make light work — and strong community spaces 💪 We look forward to seeing you there!
