Sleeping Beauty

After the huge success of last year’s Beauty & the Beast – Junction Goole‘s third home grown Christmas show brings an enchanting retelling of the much-loved classic fairytale Sleeping Beauty. Written and directed by Tina Shuker-Abell.

There are two sides to every story…

Once upon a time, a much-longed-for child was born to a King and Queen. Now, on the eve of her 16th birthday, a long-kept secret is about to unravel.

From a quiet corner of the forest, Rosie’s final bedtime story is unlike any she’s heard before – a tale that challenges everything she thought she knew.

This Christmas, we’re bringing you Sleeping Beauty like you’ve never seen it before – told through the eyes of two fairies: one good, one not-so-good, and both with their own version of what really happened.

A twisted tale of curses, courage, and second chances, this reimagining blend storytelling with a dash of pantomime magic. Expect music, magic and mischief, with a few wickedly fabulous surprises along the way.
