It’s usually very quiet on Monday night, but lovers, would-be lovers, married couples and some very dodgy characters all pass through the doors of the pub, where Max serves the drinks, hears their tales and breaks up the fights.
Margot and Roy – on the surface a very ordinary, boring couple who like University Challenge and beef stew, but on this Monday, they’re trying something different.
Danny – the pub singer. He loves a bit of easy listening, but tonight isn’t easy, as a heckler gets under his skin.
Jonas – A trendy DJ and mixmaster. He lives in the 21st century, but the pub is firmly stuck in the 90s. Does Jonas have a higher calling?
Dylan and Terry – Best mates, but are they in the right place?
Lauren and Alex – Two lovers, ready to wed, but they face opposition.
