Ho ho ho, exciting news! 🎅🏻 🎅🏻 🎅🏻
It's the 5th time of us planning to host Goole Christmas Day parkrun.
The previous events have been very succesful and we are really hoping to be able to hold an event again this year so charge up your new sports watches first thing!!
Last year 230 participants came to see us at 9am and 20 volunteers provided the event!!
You are invited to run with us in your finest Christmas attire, festive PJs, your new 1 hour old trainers received as a present...or just plain old fashioned Lycra whatever you fancy come down and enjoy the festivities with your Goole parkrun family.
Whether you want to participate, spectate or volunteer take a break from the present opening madness (or hide from the cooking duties) and join us for some Christmas cheer! 🎅🏻 🎄
Bring along all your family and make a new tradition!! A fantatic bit of exercise on Christmas Day!
If Christmas Day is a difficult day for you, please know that you don't have to be a runner to come along to Goole parkrun on Christmas Day. There will be plenty of friendly faces and you won't be alone. You may see someone you know or chat to a new person who could brighten your day - or you could brighten their day.

This event, like all weekly parkrun events is completely free and open to all.
Please note, the cafe and toilets will not be available.
Course inspection will be performed on the morning just incase there is a white christmas.
We can only do this with your support and do need a completed roster of volunteers ahead of the event to ensure it is safe to go ahead.
If you have some family members not interested in taking part in the event, maybe they could volunteer???
**IMPORTANT**
We have a Run Director lined up but need you all to assist. This is a large undertaking to host 5 events in 15 days by the Goole team. Please come forward to volunteer across the events to ensure they can all go ahead.
