Let's Light Up the Night! The Wild Buggers Lights For Life Run Is On!
Hey, VW Family! It's time to fire up those engines and get ready for our annual Lights For Life Run! This year, we're taking over the streets and turning them into a massive rolling light show. If you've got a VW Beetle, Baja Bug, VW classic, VW Bug, or any air-cooled VW vehicle, you're part of the crew. Let's make this the biggest convoy of awesome Beach Buggies and Old School VWs Cape Town has ever seen!
The Details
When: Saturday, November 29th, 2025
Where: We'll meet up at Food Lovers Market N1 City at 7:00 PM and roll out at 7:30 PM sharp!
The Vibe: We're going to cruise through the city, spreading some serious holiday cheer. Our route will take us all the way to Camps Bay and Green Point.
The Plan: We'll park off at Camps Bay & Green Point for an hour so everyone can hang out, check out the rides, and share some laughs. After that, the run continues for those who want to keep the good times rolling. We'll head on to Bloubergstrand for a final scenic drive. If you'd rather wrap things up in Green Point, no worries—you're free to stay as long as you like.
The Cause: We'll be accepting donations of dog and cat food, blankets, and other items for a local animal shelter. We just ask that you bring something if you can. The main goal, however, is to get as many VW classics and Beach Buggies together for an epic night!
So, get your Christmas lights ready, polish up that chrome, and tell all your VW Family to join us. Let's show everyone what the Wild Buggers are all about!
