Girl Scout Seniors and Ambassadors in 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grades can take their leadership skills to the next level by earning their ViT pin and True North Award.
You will leave this training with plenty of knowledge, tips, and tricks in your bag to get you started on your journey to completing the ViT Award and True North Award
Additional award requirements: After you complete this training class, you will need to complete one activity with younger Girl Scouts and lead two full meetings with younger Girl Scouts during the 2025-2026 Girl Scout Year. You will also need to complete 2 pages related to the True North Program.
You will create and implement two thoughtful meetings. You will be responsible for designing, planning, and evaluating the activities. If you are passionate about a topic such as art or technology, you could design the activities around this topic.
But don't worry, the training teacher will help you connect with leaders and staff members to complete the requirements if you need help. You will have help and support as you complete this pin.
Bring with you: Health History Form, Water Bottle, snack for 1 snack break.
Cost: $12.00. The cost covers the Volunteer in Training and True North book, ViT and True North training, and help and support for the year to complete the training.
