Barbecue Cook-Off & Sale: Witness 15 competitive cook teams showcase their skills, and savor mouth-watering barbecue plates available for purchase—$10 in advance or $12 on the day of the event.
Diverse Vendors: Explore offerings from over 40 vendors, featuring a wide array of products and services to delight attendees of all ages.
Kids Zone: Keep the little ones entertained with inflatables, face painting, games, crafts, and more.
Live Entertainment: Enjoy performances throughout the day from local theater and dance schools, talented singers, and a DJ, providing a lively soundtrack to the festivities.
The festivities begin as barbecue cook teams start their preparations at noon on Friday, April 17, at Freedom Field across from The Hub. Feel free to stop by and get a sneak peek of the delicious offerings to come!
Admission to Pig in the Park is free, making it accessible for everyone to join in the fun. Proceeds from barbecue plate sales and all fundraising efforts, including the entertaining "Kiss the Pig" contest, directly support the Boys & Girls Clubs of Coastal Plain (formally Wayne County), helping to provide essential programs for local youth.
