In the workshop, "Capturing a Landscape Quickly and Effectively," Ray will show his methods for visualizing a scene as a painting, drawing quick value sketches in markers, and painting in a method that builds success from start to finish. He bases his process on an Atelier approach of painting form (light and shadow), drawing, and composition.

Ray Roberts began his career as an illustrator, establishing studios in Los Angeles and Scottsdale before turning full-time to fine art in 1992.
