Please join us upstairs in the State Room at Buffalo Rose for a relaxing and informative evening where we creatively pair up some of the finest food in Colorado with the very best Spanish wines from the Winery and Vinyards of Volver.
Bodegas Volver was founded in 2004 by fourth generation winemaker, Rafa Canizares, who was instrumental in the Spanish wine boom of the 1990s. Today, he produces wine under different labels from a variety of DOs. He is passing his winemaking philosophy of diversity, uniqueness and tradition while focusing on quality fruit and minimal intervention to the next generation of the family.
Upon arrival, guests will be presented with welcome drinks and stationed appetizers. Once the program starts, you will be treated to three (3) expressions of the winery’s finest varietals, thoughtfully accompanied by a delicious array of tapas-plates created by Executive Chef Chris Zekos and the Buffalo Rose’s culinary team. After three main pairings, guests will be treated to a final special dessert pairing.
This is an unforgettable experience for both wine connoisseurs and those new to oenophilia. A seasoned sommelier will guide you through tastings of several exclusive labels while Chef Chris guides you through a tantalizing selection of perfectly paired gourmet bites. Savor the rich flavors and aromas as you learn how each wine complements its companion dish.
Ticket pricing includes a welcome cocktail, three (3) wine and food pairings plus a delicious paired dessert finisher along with short but informative presentations by Volver and the Buffalo Rose. Sales tax and gratuity are also included in the ticket price.
