Festival-goers dress in Viking regalia and celebrate community, live music, performing arts and craft beer.Named one of the Top Ten Outdoor Festivals in Colorado by the Westword, UllrGrass features a diverse lineup of bluegrass, newgrass, funk and jamband artists announced in October of the prior year.The UllrGrass Beer Festival takes place on Saturday January 31, 2026 from Noon-4pm in Parfet Park in Golden. Patrons enjoy live music on two alternating stages while sampling craft brews and ciders from 30+ breweries from across Colorado and nationwide . The evening shows on Friday and Saturday night will take place in Parfet Park under heated tents.“The only way this event can happen is with the support of our incredible Golden community”, adds Susannah Thompson (Co-founder). “It takes a village to throw a festival with more than 100 volunteers and 50 plus local businesses working together to pull it off.
