Crafted Through Clay: 50 Years of Learning is a special student showcase celebrating the incredible journey of the Gold Coast Potters Association and the many students and artists who have been part of its story.

50 years ago, in late 1976, a small group of passionate local potters came together for the very first time. That gathering sparked a creative journey that led to the official incorporation of the Gold Coast Potters just months later.

Today, the community has grown to more than 240 members, continuing to create, learn and connect from the same Benowa precinct and the Mudgeeraba campus.

This showcase honours the legacy of those who started it all while celebrating the incredible emerging ceramic artists shaping the future.

Come along, support our student artists, see what has been created through clay, and celebrate this wonderful milestone with us. 🏺✨
