Larry Lamb: Stories, Stage & Verse

Spend a captivating afternoon in conversation with Larry Lamb, celebrated actor, author and radio presenter, as he takes to the stage at Cranleigh Arts to explore the twists, turns and turning points of a remarkable life and career.

Known for his unmistakable presence and iconic roles in EastEnders and Gavin & Stacey, Larry will share personal stories, candid reflections and behind-the-scenes anecdotes from a lifetime in the spotlight. From his upbringing and relationships to his work on stage and screen, this is a chance to hear the man behind the roles.

Adding a unique and moving dimension to the afternoon, Larry will also read original poetry he has written, all deeply personal work offering insight into the moments, memories and emotions that matter most to him. His poetry collection is due for publication in 2027.

Larry is the author of the memoir Mummy’s Boy (2011) and the novel All Wrapped Up (2025), and continues to explore storytelling in all its forms, with honesty, wit and warmth.

This is a rare opportunity to enjoy an engaging conversation peppered with verse, humour and heartfelt storytelling from one of Britain’s most loved performers.
