This hands-on class focuses on creating delicious, budget-friendly meals!About this EventWelcome to our Cooking on a Budget series!This is class designed for Waverely residents who would benefit from improving their independent cooking skills and health &amp; wellbeing.Come join us at Ockford &amp; Aarons Hill Hub for a fun-filled cooking class where you'll learn and cook delicious peanut stew! West Africa has many variations of groundnut stews and in our class we will make Domoda- the national dish of The Gambia! A rich stew with peanut butter, sweet potatoes and tomatoes!No experience needed - Just bring your enthusiasm and an extra container for leftovers. All ingredients provided.What to expect:Welcome drink and chat.Let's get chopping and cooking!Eat our creations together and relax.Tidy up and enjoy the day!Welcome drink Menu Domoda- peanut vegetable stewSides to be annoucedAdditional information: We charge a small booking fee of £5, to avoid people not turning up but it's free if you need it to be. Let us know.Your donations help us run more free community classes. If you love the class and are able to donate more, there will be an opportunity after the class- thanks in advance!This class is 100% plant-basedBring containers for leftovers.Double check the date and time if you can attend. We will also send out a reminder email, as we often have a waiting list.Please let us know of any allergies in the order form.Participants under 16 will need to be accompanied by an adult (please note when booking).Refunds/transfers: Please understand our Not-For-Profit organisation needs time to resell your tickets as we rely on the income generated by our fundraising classes. We require a minimum of 7 days notice for any cancellations or transfers once you have booked onto a class.
